Company Overview

Juniper Group, Inc. (OTCBB: JUNP)

Juniper Group, Inc. is a publicly traded holding company, operating through its operating subsidiary is a wireless communications contractor specializing in tower erection, repair, removal, extension modifications, backup generator implementation, disaster recovery and maintenance, electrical contracting as well as cellular, wireless broadband and microwave systems installation. The company is capable of sustained work on projects regionally across the United States, under the auspices of our highly trained and professional diversified teams of crews and management. We build, upgrade and maintain and monitor our nation’s critical communication elements and assure restoration of services in the face of unplanned events.

The Tower Industry

The tower industry's ability to generate recurring revenue provides significant sales and earnings visibility. Rental revenue, a recurring revenue stream, among tower companies typically contributes over 80% of total revenue. This model provides the industry significant comfort given an unstable economic environment. The long-term contracts usually include price increases consistent with inflation or based on some fixed percentage, which also provides some visibility to revenue growth over time. The demand for new towers remains robust in the U.S. Robust demand can be seen at tower companies such as Crown Castle (CCI), which experienced a 30% increase in applications for tower space in 1Q09, 40% y/y in 2Q09, and 41% in 3Q09. The industry expects operators to continue improving network capacity for voice traffic, while the upgrade to 3G and 4G data speeds should maintain robust demand for more towers. Crown Castle (CCI) and SBA Communications (SBAC) are major players in this arena.

Juniper Group follows a strategy to become a significant business force in providing high value services in the infrastructure service market on a national basis.
